Dating to 1955, this matching mid century bedroom set was made by Davis Cabinet Company of Nashville, Tennessee, a manufacturer long recognized for exceptionally high quality furniture and craftsmanship. Constructed of solid walnut, the set includes a full size bed and coordinating desk, both featuring the clean lines, warm walnut grain, tapered legs, and understated details characteristic of American mid century design.
The desk offers generous storage with four drawers along one side and an additional wide drawer above the writing area, while the full size bed carries the same restrained design through its paneled headboard, simple rails, and tapered feet.
