Early 19th Century American Federal Mahogany Bureau with Slant Front
This elegant American Federal period bureau dates to approximately 1800 to 1825. The clean architectural lines, turned legs, restrained profile, and classic brass pulls reflect the refined neoclassical influence that defined furniture of the early American Republic.
The exterior is mahogany, showcasing a deep, rich tone that has developed beautifully over time. The interior drawer construction is pine, which was typical secondary wood used by American cabinetmakers during this period.
