Late 1700's post colonial American walnut headboard and footboard. Originally constructed as a rope bed and converted historically to accept a standard three quarter mattress. Solid walnut throughout with no veneer and exceptional structural integrity. The turned posts retain their original late eighteenth century profiles with crisp finials consistent with post colonial American design. This is genuinely one of the best built and most substantial bed frames we have ever handled.
You will need metal side rails and slats. We are happy to accommodate you in acquiring those as well as a 3/4 size mattress of needed.

In home delivery is for the ground floor only. While we aim to have delivery scheduled within 3 weeks, shipping times may extend up to 8 weeks depending on carrier availability.
