19th century Renaissance Revival parlor table, likely American, circa 1870 to 1885, with an oval white marble top and a shaped and turned base that appears to be walnut. Four slender outer supports surround a central turned column, joined by curved upper brackets and spreading legs with white ceramic casters. This open pedestal arrangement gives the base its distinctive form, finished with a turned drop finial beneath the center. Intended for use in the parlor, its size lends itself to placement beside a chair or as a small accent table. The wood shows scattered surface wear and small marks consistent with age and use.
